He is a final year PhD student in the Computer Science department at University of Virginia advised by Farzad Farnoud. His recent research interest focuses on offline/adaptive learning policy of rankings in preferential systems, with optional heterogeneity on information sources. He also studies chunk based compression and deduplication methods tailored for specific data sources. Before joining UVa, he also worked for a year at Momenta as computer vision scientist developed and deployed traffic light/sign detection and recognition system for autonomous driving cars. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
